These terms govern purchases from MINIATURA, operated by Anna Beliakova, Rua Ordem de Santiago 16, 2950-422 Palmela, Portugal, VAT / NIF PT310206839 ("we"). Contact: hello@miniatura.online. The full legal notice is on the Legal page.
Every piece is handmade to order over seven days, in a limited edition of seven, never restocked. A piece is offered either in one size or made to your individual measurements — its product page states which. For made-to-measure pieces we contact you by email after your order to take your measurements; the seven production days start once we have them. Minor variations are inherent to handmade work and are not defects.
To order: add a piece to your bag, proceed to checkout, enter your shipping address and payment details, and confirm payment. Before paying you see the full price including shipping. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed, and we email you an order confirmation with a receipt. Because each piece is one of seven, a piece is only reserved for you once payment begins; until then it may be claimed by another buyer. The contract is concluded in English and stored by us; you can request a copy at any time.
All prices are in euro. For deliveries within the European Union, prices include Portuguese VAT. For deliveries outside the EU, prices exclude VAT — import taxes, customs duties and handling fees are charged by your local authorities on arrival and are your responsibility.
Shipping is free across Europe (including the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway); a flat rate shown at checkout applies to the rest of the world. Each piece is made over seven days and then shipped with tracking; total delivery time is normally well within 30 days of the order. We do not ship to Russia, Belarus, or countries under EU sanctions.
As an EU consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the day you (or a person you designate) receive the piece, without giving a reason. To withdraw, send an unequivocal statement to hello@miniatura.online — you may use the model form below — before the period expires. Return the piece unworn and in its original condition within 14 days of your withdrawal; you bear the direct cost of the return shipment. We refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery cost, within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal (we may withhold the refund until we receive the piece back or you supply proof of return), using the payment method of your original order. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is needed to establish the nature and characteristics of the piece.
Exception — made-to-measure pieces: pieces marked "made to measure" are produced to your individual measurements after you order. They are goods made to the consumer's specifications, and the right of withdrawal does not apply to them (article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU). This is indicated on the piece's product page, in your bag and at checkout before you pay, and it does not affect the legal guarantee of conformity (section 7).
Exception — hygiene-sealed pieces: pieces marked as hygiene-sealed (for example swimwear and pieces worn against the skin) are delivered sealed for health and hygiene reasons. If you remove the seal after delivery, the right of withdrawal is lost (article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU). You can inspect such a piece as you would in a boutique without breaking the seal — doing so preserves your right of withdrawal in full. Each affected piece is marked on its product page, in your bag, and at checkout.

All pieces are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity: a minimum of two years under EU law, and three years under Portuguese law (Decreto-Lei 84/2021) for purchases governed by it. If a piece is not in conformity, contact us and we will repair, replace, reduce the price or refund, as provided by law. This guarantee does not cover normal wear or damage from misuse of what is an intentionally delicate, hand-finished object.
In case of a dispute, please write to us first — we answer within two working days. Pursuant to Portuguese Law 144/2015, consumers may also refer disputes to an alternative dispute resolution entity, such as CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (cniacc.pt), or the consumer arbitration centre competent for our registered location.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If any provision is found invalid, the remainder stays in force.
